Grieving the loss of possibility
In another life,
I hope our clothes are folded in the same laundry basket.
In another life,
I hope that our toothbrushes share the same cup.
In another life,
I hope we got all those pets we wanted.
In another life,
I hope we're slow dancing in our kitchen while parsley watches us and purrs.
In another life,
I hope we try new restaurants every saturday
and that we finally picked the perfect sunday night talks.
In another life,
I hope I can still enjoying those gorgeous big brown eyes of yours.
In another life,
I hope we get a house with a great backyard, host friends and family.
In another life,
I hope we were still photographing each other with beautiful smiles etched on our faces.
But most of all,
In another life,
I wish we had more time.
I wish we never forget that somewhere between our hi and goodbye, there was love, so much love.
And in another life,
I wish I can tell you that I am in love with you.
Now I know,
You don't even think twice of me,
Because you are like a brilliant shooting star,
And I am just a simple cloud that looks up at you in admiration.
But the importance is,
In another life,
I hope you are actually happy.
I hope you are not in the situation of, "What worse? Never having this, or having it and it ends?"
